UGC Net Certificate: UGC Net Certificate is given to those candidates who have given the National Eligibility Test conducted by University Grants Commission. The NET test is conducted to examine the candidates, who are citizens of India if they are eligible for Assistant Professor or Junior Research Fellowship or for both. These Indian Nationals will be eligible to work for Indian Universities and Colleges.

The candidates who have given the UGC NET exams will be issued an e-certificate after the declaration of the result. Previously, the certificate was issued after a long period of time, for around 7 to 8 months after the declaration of the result. But now an e-portal has been started by the HRD Ministry to provide the UGC Net Certificate as soon as possible to the candidates.

Students can find more about Certificates, explore the types used for academic purposes, professional purposes and more.

It is a virtual copy of the certificate approved by UGC that works as a valid document that the candidates have qualified for the NET exam and is suitable for Lectureship & JRF designation.
