Teacher Welcome Back Letters: Teaching is a profession that plays a role of utmost importance in society. Considering the time and energy they dedicate to us, they very much deserve a warm and hearty welcome letter at least, when they get back to school after the vacation.
Welcome letters are letters written to formally greet and introduce others to an institution. The letters can be sent to new students in a school, some new employees in a company, people attending a conference, etc. In this case, the main intention of welcome letters is to boost all the teachers’ morale and to let them know that they are an important part of the team. The letters are considered a gesture of courtesy and they are the nicest way to show the recipient that you appreciate their presence, aptitude, or interests in doing something. Such letters may also contain some important information that the people receiving them may not yet be aware of.

Dear Miss Trisha,
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the new school year of 2021-2022.
I hope you had a wonderful summer vacation and are well-rested, for you deserve it, considering you are one of the most sincere, devout and hardworking teachers of our school. I’m also hoping that you’ve spent enough quality time with your family and near and dear ones during the holidays. I know not spending enough time with them or not being able to see them often feels horrible. This New Year marks the beginning of yet another journey into the education of these young adults, none of which we can go on with without your support.
Thank you, and welcome back to the school!
Sincerely,
Todd Chavez

Dear Mr Demarco,
I want to extend to you and your family a very warm welcome to Elysian High School. For a student, their high school years are a thrilling time when the children embark upon new adventures in the world of learning. All of the new years are going to provide several important transitions and the accruing of new skills that will improve and enhance each student’s ability to apply learning in many ways. Elysian High School is dedicated to providing a challenging and rigorous curriculum that helps each student develop and progress, slowly and gradually at an appropriate time. Our school also provides a safe and conducive environment for all students for the same.
Teaching and learning offer us all a number of brilliant opportunities to focus on numerous small things that accrue overtime to produce students that are prepared to do greater things in life. With this in mind, ultimately as a collective community, we are judged by the actions of our student body as a whole and the way new students’ learning connects and impacts the world beyond our school. At our school, we are committed to inculcating the arts into our academic curriculum because we believe that we learn better with and through an artistic approach.
As a former elementary and middle school teacher myself, I value the socioemotional development of all of my children as they transition from their formative years through early adolescence. I also understand that it’s just as hard for a teacher to take care of such students in their transitioning years, as it is for the children who themselves are undergoing the transition, and I value life-long learning and aim to make your child’s learning experience at Elysian High School engaging and thrilling.
I hope you have a wonderful time here at our school, Mr Demarco. I’m really looking forward to seeing you soon. Good luck on everything, I believe in you.
Sincerely,
Dorian Electra

Dear Miss Bright,
I hope you had an excellent summer vacation and spent enough time with your friends, family and loved ones. All the time and work that you dedicate to helping the students, I really hope you had an enjoyable vacation, for you deserve it. These two months without your guidance were a bit tough if I’m being honest, considering how I ask you for your help in so many things. I was reminded of your absence often.
But anyway, I am very glad that I will be getting to see you again, Miss Bright. Thank you for your constant guidance, care, affection and support. You’re like a second mother to all of the students. Everybody loves you so much, ma’am. Students, teachers and parents alike, everybody has noticed your dedication and hardworking nature and appreciates it thoroughly.
This year, 12th grade is going to be very difficult and is a crucial year for all of the students, just like last year was. It would have been impossible for us all to manage last year, had you not been there.
Hence, I and all my classmates are really looking forward to your presence this year. All of us were worried sick that we may not have you this year, but you cannot even imagine how loudly we cheered when we found out that you are in fact, not leaving and will continue being our teacher for this year as well! I cannot wait to see you soon.
Thank you for being the guiding light that you always have been, dear Miss Bright, and welcome back to the New Year and session of 2020-2021!
Yours lovingly,
Lilly Chu
