NIOS Class 10 Date Sheet 2019: Due to elections on October 21, 2019, the official authorities have decided to postpone the Science & Technology exam (212) on November 4, 2019. The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) released the NIOS 10th Date Sheet on September 4, 2019. The class 10 theory examination started on October 4, 2019. While the practical examination started on September 16, 2019.
NIOS, the National Institute of Open Schooling, was founded in the year 1979 by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). It is one of the largest open schooling systems in the world. As an autonomous institution, it strives to offer quality education at the school and up to pre-degree level, in an affordable manner to students in remote areas of the country. Every year, the NIOS conducts the class 10 exams twice – Block-1, in April-May and Block-2 in October-November.
The revised NIOS Class 10 Date sheet 2019 for Block-1 exams was released on 11th March. The exam mode will be offline. The practical exams start on the 16th of March and end on the 30th of March, while the theory exams take place between the 3rd of April and the 4th of May. How To Download NIOS Class 10 Date Sheet From The Official Website?
To download the NIOS class 10 block-1 exam date sheet 2019 from the official site, follow the steps given below
- Go to www.nios.ac.in
- At the bottom, there is a link that says “Examination/result”. Click on it.
- Now select the option “Date Sheet for Secondary (Class- X)/Sr. Secondary (Class XII) Examinations October 2019 (All India Exam Centres)”.
- Download it and take a print out for future reference.

Note
- There will be no change in the dates of the exams.
- Since practical examinations are being conducted in small batches, students/candidate are advised to contact the Centre Superintendent/ Coordinator of the Accredited Institutes well in advance of the commencement of the practical exam to know specified dates as well as batch allotted to them.
- Do not carry any electronic gadgets to the exam.
- Reach the exam hall on time, or you won’t be allowed to write the exam.
