NIOS Class 10 Admit Card 2019: NIOS stands for National Institute of open schooling. It is an autonomous institution that aims to provide affordable education to students in remote parts of the country. Currently, there are about 1.5 million students enrolled, making it the largest open schooling education system in the world. It conducts exams at the secondary and higher secondary level. The NIOS exam for Class 10 is conducted twice a year. Block 1 examination is conducted in April – May and Block 2 is conducted in October – November.

According to the official, NIOS 10th Block 1 practical examination will be conducted from 16th March 2019 to 30th March 2019. The theory examination will be conducted from 3rd April 2019 to 4th May 2019.

To download the NIOS Admit Card for 10th Class, follow the below steps.

1. Visit the official website for the National Institute of Open Schooling, sdmis.nios.ac.in/search
2. Click on the “Public exam hall ticket” link
3. You will be redirected to a new page
4. Now, enter your 12 digit roll number correctly and select the hall ticket type (Hall ticket for theory/practical examination)
5. Finally, click the submit button
6. The candidates are advised to download the admit card from the official site only.

That’s it! Don’t forget to take a print out and keep it with you at all times.

The result of the examination is likely to be declared in 6 weeks after the last date of the examination.

NIOS Points to Remember

1. Since practical examinations are being conducted in small batches, students/candidate are advised to contact the Centre Superintendent/ Coordinator of the Accredited Institutes well in advance of the commencement of the practical exam to know specified dates as well as batch allotted to them.
2. Do not carry any electronic gadgets to the exam.
3. Reach the exam hall on time, or you won’t be allowed to write the exam.
4. In case your NIOS class 10 Block-1 examination hall ticket is not generated due to not uploading a photo of the student, kindly contact your regional center immediately.
