Marriage Certificate Application Form

- On the date of application, verification of documents is done and an appointment date is given to both husband and wife.

Under Special Marriage Act
- The couples (husband and wife) have to provide a 30-day notice to the sub-registrar office.

Note: For Hindu Marriage Act, the applicants get the appointment within 15 days, but for the Special Marriage Act, it may take up to 60 days to get an appointment.
