ITI Courses 2021: ITI courses (Industrial Training Institute Courses) are courses that provide training for the technical and non-technical fields. What separates ITI courses from other academic courses is that these aim to provide faster employment opportunities right after class 10th or 12th. The courses are exclusively trading specific, hence they impart essential skills important for the trade.
All ITI courses fall under the purview of the Directorate General of Employment of Training (DGET), Ministry of Labour & Employment. Currently, almost every state in India has its own ITI and its respective authoritative bodies. The duration of these courses varies depending on their type and nature. Some courses could be as short as 6 months, or as long as 4 years.

Given the number of courses and the ITIs in various states, the registration window varies from state to state, However, the admission process is merit based across all states and students are required to clear a written exam.
