• Age Criteria: As declared by the officials, an applicant having least age of 14 years and above as on July 1, 2020, shall be qualified to ask admission in the ITI and applicant having merest age of 18 years as on July 1, 2020, shall be qualified for admission to small subject of Driver cum mechanic.
• Physical Fitness: There is no determined guideline for physical fitness. Though, applicants must be in a good medical position and therefore applicants will have to present a medical record at the time of admission.
• Education Criteria: For various courses, the eligibility criteria vary. Applicants must have either qualified class 10th or 8th in the 10+2 curriculum structure.

  • An applicant asking admission in the Government or Private ITI should have been staying in Goa for not less than ten years leading the date of the application.
  • Descendants of Central/State/Union Territory Government workers and servants of Government of India projects which are posted in Goa.
  • Descendants of Freedom Fighters listed as such in the Home Department of Government of Goa.
  • Descendants of parents of Goan birth, who are born in Goa and who are working in Armed Forces or retired from the Armed Forces presented that such children pass their qualifying exams under an acknowledged board and university in the state Goa.

• School/Institute/College Leaving Certificate/Bonafide certificate/Transfer certificate.
• Mark sheet obtained in VIII Std./ SSC/ Diploma in Engg.
• Certificate of passing VIII std/SSC/Diploma in Engg. as applicable.
• Certificate regarding residence of 10 years preceding the date of this application or in lieu of this Certificate,
• Birth Certificate.
• Certificate that the applicant’s father or mother is an employee of Govt. /Govt. undertaking.

• applicants selected for admission will have to submit a photograph of their Parents, duly attested by a Gazetted Officer.
• Undertaking Form: Applicants will have to approve the undertaking. The application will be available on the university sight. The applicants will have to present the following details like  Place, date, signature of applicant and signature of guardian.
• Acknowledgement Card: After successful fulfilment of the application process, applicants will be provided an acknowledgement card having following details in it:  Application No., Name of ITI, Date., for future reference.

Goa ITI Merit List

Applicants will be shortlisted based on their appearance in the qualifying exam. The names of these applicants will be declared on the merit list of Goa I.T.I. 2020 admission. A centralized system admission procedure will follow the process.

Here are some essential points associated with the Goa I.T.I. Merit List 2020 as set by the admission officials

1. Directorate of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship will issue a separate merit list of S.S.C. and eighth class for individual and government colleges.
2. Provisional Merit List: Before the concluding merit list, a tentative merit list will be issued. It will be announced in all the Government and Private I.T.I.s for three days. Applicants can put any objection/ notice under this term.

Goa ITI Counselling Procedure

The chosen applicants will be taken ahead to the final choice process. The counselling method of Goa ITI Admission 2020 will be conducted as outlined below

1. Seat allocation will be done in a centrally placed venue devised by the State Director. The features of the same will be accessible in all the ITIs.
2. The seat allocation will completely be done based on merit cum preference and on first-come, first-serve base. The method will be done for a special period on the days designated by Centralized Admission Center.
3. Option filling and seat locking: The applicant present in the selected centre will be given a chance to choose a seat of his/her choice from the positions available at the point of his/her merit number.
4. If the applicants fail to seem at the selected centre, then their admissions will not be carried forward.
