What is AP JEE?
Arunachal Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination or AP JEE is a common test whose score is used for admission in different engineering courses. Arunachal Pradesh State Council of Technical Education (APSCTE) governs the joint entrance examination, which is the requirement of numerous technical and professional educational institutes for higher education. Through AP JEE, the government provides an educational opportunity for children belonging to Arunachal Pradesh schedule tribe (APST), NonAPST government employeess’ children and other children residing in Arunachal Pradesh. The score of AP JEE is valid for undergraduate courses which include all degree and diploma technical programme. Students can score well if they do sample papers for AP JEE.

Eligibility Criteria for AP JEE 2020
AP JEE is a common entrance exam for both diploma and degree programme. Therefore, the eligibility criteria also differ. However, candidates who need to appear for Compartmental Examination are not eligible for appearing in the Joint Entrance Examination. You need to strictly follow the age limit prescribed by the authority. However, the upper age limit of SC/ST candidates is relaxed by three years.

The Pattern of AP JEE Question Papers
You should practice the mock test paper of previous years so that you can score well in the entrance exam. It would be best if you do a minimum of five AP JEE previous years’ question papers. Since you will get only two or three hours to complete the paper of 600 marks, you need to answer quickly so that you can attempt all questions correctly. However, you need to be very careful as there will be negative marking for wrong answers. Thus, the need to practice several AP JEE previous question paper is of utmost importance.

Other Important Information regarding AP JEE Question Papers
- You can give the offline test at the centre.
- Before you begin, you should ensure that you fill your name, category, test booklet number, subject code and your roll number on the answer sheet without any mistake.
- You will get 2 hours for diploma programme and 3 hours for degree programme to complete a paper that holds maximum marks of 600.
- The test booklet consists of a total of 150 objective type questions carrying four equal marks. All the questions are compulsory. You will need to answer the questions on a given computerized Answer Sheet where you will mark your answers by darkening the circle against it with an HB pencil.
- You will need to choose only one answer carefully from the four option given against (a), (b), (c) or (d).
- Do not darken outside the boundary of the circle. Otherwise, the computer will not accept your answer during the process of computer-evaluation of your answer-script.
- You can do your rough work in the space given to you in the Test Booklet for this purpose.
- Think thoroughly before marking your answer. If you want to change your answer after darkening the circle, you need to erase your previous answer.
- Each question carries four marks for the correct answer. However, there will be deduction of one mark for each incorrect answer. Try to avoid negative marking.
- Section A will be Mathematics and Section B will be for Science
- The result once declared would be final. There is no scope for re-examination or re-evaluation.
- The location of examination centers are in Itanagar, Naharlagun, and Nirjuli.

Interested candidates who are using net banking for applying for AP JEE need to pay an application fee of Rs 511 and Rs. 711 for Arunachal Pradesh ST category and Non-ST category respectively. If you are using credit or debit card, the application fee is Rs. 522 and Rs. 722 for Arunachal Pradesh ST and Non-ST category respectively.
